Furniture design

Working out the details of a furniture piece has given me a different perspective when designing interiors much in the same way that knowledge of the larger scale of interior design has made me a better furniture maker. For me these two aspects of design - the large and the small - go hand in hand.

Being purely decorative in its origin, the addition of a functional element to the aesthetics of macramé makes this shelf both a pleasing element of a living space, and a useful storage option.
